Safari Chic

Safari Chic is big this year (once again). There are a lot of safari inspired pieces on the high street, but I really like this playsuit with petals (also a major trend) and this parka (Kristen Stewart was spotted wearing a similar one). This is a good look for summer festivals:

D&G 2010 Spring Collection

There were a lot of ruffles, denim and western looks in D&G 2010 Spring Collection. I found a similar dress on Miss selfridge:

Spring's Florals

You don't have to wait till summer to wear these dresses! They are flirty floral dresses that you can dress up to go out or dress down for everyday use. Wear with high heels and a blazer for a polished look, or with a leather jacket to give it a twist. For a geeky fun look wear it with flats and glasses:

Mix and Match

I found this bag and this hat at the Topshop website and loved them, mainly because they look great with almost anything. Don't mix it with more prints though, or it will be too much as the bag already makes a statement. Here are some possible combinations:

Topshop look
T-shirt: 20£
Straw trilby hat: 20£
Peeptoe platform: 70£
70's frayed hotpants: 20£

If you have a plain dress and want to make it more original, just add some fun accessories like these shoes and this necklace:

If a floral dress mixed with white and pink accessories is too girlie for you, toughen it up with a leather jacket and black and grey accessories:

Neutrals and Florals

A huge trend that was spotted on the runways were Neutrals and Florals, particularly on Luella's 2010 Spring show (photos from Style.com). Want to know how to wear these trends on your everyday life? Here is how you can mix both trends and wear them either during the day with flats or to go out at night with high heels. This look does require a warm weather though! You can wear it in the spring with boots, and in the summer with sandals. Pair it with neutral accessories, or with bright colours and bows as seen in Luella. Hope you enjoy!
